Prince William’s Table Manners: A Royal Revelation from Kate Middleton

In a candid moment that many can relate to, has shed light on one of ‘s less-than-royal habits—his table manners.

After 13 years of marriage, it appears that even a future king isn’t immune to the quirks that can drive a spouse up the wall.

While the couple was visiting an RAF base in Cyprus back in 2018, Kate humorously called out William for his dining etiquette, revealing that he can be quite the nightmare when it comes to keeping food off the furniture.

During their visit, the couple opened a new leisure facility, and it was here that Kate’s playful jab at William highlighted her biggest pet peeve.

As William jokingly cautioned recruits to keep pizza off the sofas, Kate swiftly chimed in, “You’re a nightmare with this.” It’s clear that maintaining the pristine condition of their home at Adelaide Cottage is a constant struggle, especially given their fondness for takeout.

Speaking of takeout, Kate shared insights into their family’s dining habits during an interview on BBC Radio 1 in 2017.

When asked if they ever indulged in takeaways, she enthusiastically confirmed it, mentioning that curry was a family favorite.

However, she noted that they rarely have food delivered to the palace, opting instead to collect it themselves—a charming nod to their down-to-earth lifestyle amidst royal duties.

William, however, seems to prefer milder dishes.

In a light-hearted conversation with footballer Peter Crouch on his podcast in 2020, he made it clear that he isn’t one for spicy vindaloo.

Instead, he expressed his preference for chicken masala, showcasing a taste that leans towards the gentler side of the spice spectrum.

Fast food has found its way into the royal family’s hearts, with William revealing his newfound love for Nando’s, thanks to his police protection officer.

This revelation paints a picture of a royal family that enjoys the simple pleasures of life, just like the rest of us.

It’s a reminder that even those in the highest echelons of society indulge in the occasional fast food treat.

Interestingly, the late also had her culinary preferences.

While she enjoyed exotic meals, she often craved comfort food prepared closer to home.
