Kylie Jenner Sets Firm Social Media Boundaries for Her Kids

Kylie Jenner, the renowned reality TV personality and beauty mogul, has opened up about her distinctive approach to parenting, particularly regarding social media.

In a recent interview with Elle magazine, the mother of two revealed the surprising rule she enforces for her children, Stormi and Aire, when it comes to their online presence.

Having stepped into motherhood at just 20 years old with the birth of her daughter Stormi, Kylie later welcomed her son Aire four years later with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott.

Growing up in the limelight herself, Kylie is keenly aware of the challenges posed by social media and is determined to shield her kids from its potential pitfalls.

She emphasized that any content shared involving her children would come directly from her or their father, ensuring they maintain control over their public image.

Kylie made it clear that she intends to keep her children off social media for as long as possible, stating they won’t be allowed their own accounts until they’ve moved out.

However, she admitted that Stormi seems to have found a way around this rule.

“Stormi will come home knowing all the TikTok dances,” she said, baffled by how her young daughter picks up on trends despite the restrictions.

This parenting philosophy starkly contrasts with that of her older sister, Kim Kardashian, whose daughter North West boasts a staggering 19.2 million followers on TikTok.

Kim often appears in North’s videos, showcasing a different approach to navigating fame and social media within their family.

Reflecting on her own journey into motherhood, Kylie shared her thoughts on becoming a parent so young.

She described the experience as shocking, especially as she witnessed significant changes in her body, including new stretch marks that came with carrying her children.

Her candidness about the physical transformations highlights the realities many women face during and after pregnancy.

In the same breath, Kylie addressed recent speculation surrounding her body image, particularly rumors suggesting she was using the weight loss drug Ozempic.

Speaking to British Vogue, she clarified that she weighed 200 pounds at the time of giving birth to her children, who weighed 8.3 and 8.9 pounds, respectively.

After losing the baby weight from her first pregnancy, she soon found herself expecting again, which added another layer to her body image struggles.

Kylie expressed her frustration with the lack of empathy shown towards women regarding their bodies, especially in the public eye.

“People are quick to judge,” she remarked, noting how online commentary can often veer into unfounded accusations.

She emphasized that her current weight is consistent with what it was before her pregnancies, countering claims that she had resorted to extreme measures for weight loss.

As she continued to discuss body image, Kylie reflected on her past decisions, particularly her breast augmentation surgery during her teenage years.

While she acknowledges some regrets, she also recognizes that those experiences have shaped who she is today.

“I have to give my younger self grace,” she stated, emphasizing her acceptance of her journey.
