Khloe Kardashian Opens Up About Facial Fillers Following Melanoma Surgery

In a candid update on her health journey, Khloe Kardashian recently revealed that she has received facial fillers, nine months after undergoing surgery to remove a melanoma tumor from her cheek.

This news comes as she continues to share her skin healing process with her fans and followers.

On October 11, the reality star took to Snapchat to discuss her cosmetic procedure, which was prompted by the surgery that left a noticeable dent in her face.

In her now-expired post, Khloe explained, “As a result of the surgery and the tumor my incredible doctor removed, I ended up with an indentation in the side of my face.” She waited nearly a year before opting for fillers, wanting to ensure that everything was medically sound and approved by her doctor.

Khloe’s decision to wait was not made lightly.

The mother of two emphasized the importance of patience when it comes to medical procedures.

She wanted to be certain that her body had healed adequately before making any cosmetic changes.

Alongside her announcement, she shared before-and-after selfies that showcased the transformation of her cheek structure post-fillers.

This isn’t the first time Khloe has opened up about her health struggles.

Two years prior, she faced a significant health scare when she discovered a small bump on her face.

Initially dismissing it as something minor, she later decided to have it biopsied after it failed to go away for several months.

She underwent two separate biopsies, both revealing that the bump was an unusual occurrence for someone her age.

In a confessional during season three of “The Kardashians,” Khloe reflected on her experience with melanoma, stating, “Melanoma is deadly.

This is way more serious than I anticipated it to be.” Her motivation for sharing her story was to encourage others to prioritize their health and schedule regular checkups.

Khloe also recounted her previous battle with skin cancer, revealing that she had melanoma at just 19 years old, which required surgical intervention.

“I am pre-disposed to melanomas,” she noted, urging her audience to be vigilant about their skin health.

“Even those who are not, we should be checking all the time,” she added, emphasizing the necessity of daily sunscreen use and regular self-exams.

In November 2022, she provided updates on her recovery via social media, sharing insights into her healing process.

She detailed her commitment to laser treatments and wearing a bandage to help control scar tissue development, showcasing her proactive approach to recovery.

Khloe’s openness about her health journey serves as a reminder of the importance of self-care and awareness.
