Jennifer Garner is turning her children’s dreams into reality with a spectacular bedroom designed just for them in her stunning Los Angeles residence.
The beloved star, known for her role in “13 Going on 30,” has crafted a beautiful space for herself and her three children, but it’s the slumber party room that truly stands out in her impressive $7.4 million home.
Recently, Garner opened her doors to Architectural Digest, offering fans a glimpse into this special room she created for her kids—Volette, 18, Finn, 15, and Samuel, 12.
This inviting space is a testament to her commitment to making childhood magical, especially when it comes to sleepovers.
“This is like a dream come true for me because I love having the kids at a sleepover,” she shared, adding that she has high standards when it comes to slumber parties.
The room features elegant hardwood floors complemented by a built-in entertainment system, including a large flat-screen TV.
But the real highlight?
The custom bunk beds that invite relaxation and fun.
With a blend of wooden finishes and cozy blue upholstery, the furniture creates a warm atmosphere.
Garner explained, “I wanted built-in beds where the kids could completely relax,” noting how they often gather late at night, engrossed in their activities together.
Adding a whimsical touch, each bed is adorned with its own curtains, reminiscent of a ship’s cabin.
“It’s a really beautiful ship,” she remarked, emphasizing her love for the unique design.
The room also serves as a nostalgic treasure trove, filled with toys from her children’s younger years.
“I love having a place where kids can be kids,” she said, mentioning how even the older kids occasionally revisit their favorite childhood toys.
Garner’s journey to creating this personal paradise wasn’t without its challenges.
After an exhaustive search for a suitable home, she realized that privacy was paramount.
“I looked and looked for a house to move into, but I needed privacy,” she explained, expressing her frustration with the luxury homes that didn’t feel right for her family.
Ultimately, she made the decision to build her dream home from scratch.
In 2019, she purchased the land for $7.4 million, and the results reflect her vision perfectly.
Garner wanted her home to exude an old-world charm while accommodating the chaos of family life.
Collaborating with architects Steve and Brooke Gianetti, she infused the design with elements inspired by her West Virginia upbringing, showcasing a contemporary farmhouse aesthetic throughout.
Today, she feels a deep sense of satisfaction with the outcome.
“I’m happy because I feel like we’re using the space well,” she expressed, noting how her children feel equally at home in the living room and while doing homework in the dining room.
“That’s the dream, right?”
Despite her typically private nature, Garner welcomed the opportunity to share insights about her family life and the heartwarming space she has created.
The slumber party room is more than just a bedroom; it’s a sanctuary where laughter, memories, and childhood magic thrive.
Through her thoughtful design choices and nurturing spirit, Jennifer Garner has crafted a home that not only reflects her personal style but also fosters a loving environment for her children.
It’s a beautiful reminder of how important it is to create spaces where families can bond and grow together.
