Zendaya Finds Comfort in Co-Starring with Tom Holland

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Zendaya shared her thoughts on working alongside her real-life partner, Tom Holland, revealing that their on-screen collaboration feels remarkably natural.

The two-time Emmy winner expressed how their relationship adds an extra layer of safety and comfort during filming, making the experience enjoyable and seamless.

When asked if it ever feels awkward to act opposite Holland, Zendaya confidently stated, “It’s actually strangely comfortable.” She likened their dynamic to second nature, emphasizing that being with someone you trust deeply enhances the acting experience.

“You feel extra safe with the person you’re acting beside,” she added, highlighting how much she values their partnership both on and off the screen.

Zendaya praised Holland’s dedication to his craft, noting, “He always gives things 1000%, even if he’s absolutely worn down.” This commitment is something she greatly admires, and it contributes to the ease with which they work together.

Their bond began during their chemistry read for “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” where they first met and connected.

Looking ahead, both actors are set to appear in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming untitled film alongside notable stars like Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, and Lupita Nyong’o.

This exciting project marks another opportunity for the couple to share the screen, further solidifying their professional and personal connection.

In addition to her work with Holland, Zendaya also discussed her anticipation for the third season of “Euphoria.”

While production is slated to begin in January, she admitted that she has yet to see the script.

Despite this uncertainty, her excitement remains palpable as she considers the future of the beloved series.

Zendaya’s primary focus is ensuring that her character, Rue, is treated with the care and depth she deserves.

“My most important thing is to do justice by the people who love and care about Rue,” she explained, underscoring her commitment to portraying the character authentically.

The delay in filming “Euphoria” season 3 was attributed to various factors, including discussions between HBO and creator Sam Levinson about the show’s direction following a significant time jump for the characters.

This thoughtful approach reflects the network’s desire to maintain the quality of storytelling that fans have come to expect.

With nearly two years since the release of season 2, Zendaya is eager to return to the set.

She confessed to feeling a bit rusty, stating, “I haven’t been on a set in, like, two years almost.” This gap has left her feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension about diving back into her role.

Despite the nerves that accompany starting a new project, Zendaya reassured herself that this feeling is a common experience for actors.

“You’re always like, what am I even doing?” she mused, recalling the self-doubt that often creeps in on the first day of filming.

The actress humorously described the anxiety of worrying about her performance, saying, “I was terrible.

I was shit.

Everyone hates me.

I’m going to get fired tomorrow.” Yet, she also acknowledged the supportive feedback from directors that helps to quell those fears, even if it sometimes feels insincere at first.

As Zendaya gears up for her return to both “Euphoria” and new projects, her reflections reveal not only her talent but also her vulnerability as an artist.

With her dedication to her craft and her strong partnership with Holland, fans can undoubtedly look forward to more captivating performances from this dynamic duo.
